Sports bicycles, before the Specialissime, represented the entrance level into the world of cycling. Not everyone can appreciate the geometry and set-up of a sports bikes. Camaleonte is the true example of a sports bike without limits: suitable for city and recreational use, which lends itself to “serious” pedalling, during those long weekend rides. The frame is made entirely from double butted aluminium alloy, while the fork is in carbon or aluminium, depending on the model. The riding position is not aggressive, and the flat handlebars give the right compromise between performances and comfort. The components make the most of the hybrid nature of the Camaleonte: the chainset features three rings, for a wider gearing, and in the more advanced model it is kitted out with the classic 10-speed rear gear to allow it to easily go beyond standard limits. Special attention is paid to the weight, either through the city traffic when you need to be quick and dynamic or when going uphill without running out of breath.
