Road bike: A road bike is a bike which is designed for use on paved roads.
Drop bar: Drop bars allows for you to crouch and learn forwards whilsts cycling, this leads to a reducion and drag and this position can greatly increase speed and effciency.
Derailleur gears: The derilleur gears works from the rear (on the back wheel) as the derilleur switches gears, this is done by the bottom chain moving from side to side.
Caliper brake- side pull: Whilst the break leaver has been pulled the arms then move together and the break pads squeeze the rim, resulting in the bike reducing its speed.
Shimano 105 side pull v-Brakes: V brakes provide fantastic breaking, it features two long arms which leverage when the break cable is pulled, V brakes allow for plenty of power,V brakes can perform in high standards in all conditions apart from the muckiest conditions.
